Welcoming, hospitable bartender, lovely setting
One of the weirder places I've ever been.they have a DJ on Froday nights but it felt like the DJ was playing in the hottest trance club in Paris but the bar it itself was incredibly tranquil. A very strange and somewhat entertaining juxtaposition. However enter at your own risk, when I was there a lady ended up in the hospital. The bar has doors that are shut witba huge metal rod and for some reason the staff or owner just rested it against a wall. Long story short it fell and absolutely clocked a lady in the head and she started bleeding immediately. After she was taken care off and out I a car to the hospital the staff or owner put the metal rod right back where it was. Luckily the patrons that night kicked off and moved it under a set of built in stools but who knows where it is now.

Great music and the bar staff are really friendly - shame it closes earlier than most places on a Saturday

Very nice place with good music, usually strange indie (in a good way) covers of known songs. Only downside is that they don't accept payment by card.
Typical French brasserie. Stopped there for a coffee. Good exp.
